HUMA - Mediterranean Cuisine

The search for uniqueness led me to Huma, a restaurant specializing in Lebanese cuisine. The exterior itself is unique, as if you’re walking into some Middle Eastern walls. Entering this establishment, we were greeted by smiling Filipino crew as we excitedly walked along a clean, well-lighted and fragrant walkway. They also helped to make me remember that we’re still in the Philippines, in spite of the foreign looking interiors particularly the on how the ceilings and walls were decorated, the furniture was selected and lighting set-up, and how the menu book was delicately designed. Otherwise, it’s easy to feel we’re in another enchanting country.

Huma Mediterranean Cuisine carries authentic ingredients and fresh spices all flown in. Our Lebanese chefs prepare each dish the traditional way.

Franco's

The ambience is also quite cozy and homey with seats in bright orange and yellow hues. It is almost like a refuge long after you’ve passed through strips of dining choices within Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati City. The homey vibe of this place is matched with very good service of courteous staff. I could stay here for longer, and sample its long list of desserts, had it not been for my busy weekend.

Trip to South Korea

My first time trip to go abroad took place in Seoul, South Korea a few weeks ago, when it’s summer time. Summer is between June to August around which I visited the place. August is Seoul’s hottest month and the temperature goes between 26-35 degrees Celsius, pretty much like mid-summer in the Philippines.
